Using the daily checklist

The daily checklist is the single screen your team uses during service. It pulls together cleaning tasks and temperature checks for the day, sorts pending items first, subtly highlights the next thing to do, and celebrates 100% completion with a short confetti animation. Wrong tap? You've got a 5-second Undo.

Open the checklist

From your Site Dashboard, tap 'Today's Checklist'. Tasks are grouped by shift (e.g. Opening, Midday, Close) with a progress bar at the top.

Complete a task

Tap anywhere on the task card to mark it complete — your name is captured automatically from your profile, no extra prompts. Completed tasks collapse and move to the bottom so outstanding work stays visible, and the next task is gently highlighted.

Undo an accidental tap

After every completion a toast appears for 5 seconds with an Undo button. Tap it to remove the record cleanly — this also clears any Action Log entry the completion may have raised.

Record temperatures inline

Temperature areas appear within the shift they're assigned to. Tap anywhere on the area card (or the 'Record' button) to open the entry dialog. Out-of-range readings prompt you for a corrective action and automatically open an entry in the Action Log.

Share with the floor

Managers can tap 'Share Checklist' in the header to generate a public link or QR code. Floor staff can complete tasks without a login — names are still captured for the audit trail. See the Public Checklist guide for details.

Tips

  • Encourage staff to tick items off in real time rather than at end of shift.
  • 100% before close earns a confetti burst — a small reward your team will actually notice.
  • On closed days the checklist is in ad-hoc mode: you can still log, but it doesn't count against compliance.
