Billing, sites & how charges work
Seito is priced per active site, billed either monthly or annually. There are no feature tiers — every site gets full access to every module. This guide explains exactly what happens to your bill when your site count changes mid-cycle.
How pricing works
You're billed for active sites. Monthly is £21 per site per month; annual is £201.60 per site per year (~20% discount, equivalent to £16.80/site/mo). Inactive sites are never billed.
Adding a site mid-cycle — you choose how to pay
When you add a site you'll see a live pro-rata preview. Pick: (1) Pay now — pro-rata is charged immediately and your renewal stays at the regular amount; or (2) Add to next renewal — no charge today, pro-rata is added to your next invoice and we email you a 7-day reminder. The new site is available immediately either way.
Deactivating a site — billing stops immediately
Mark a site Inactive and you stop being billed for it from that day. The unused portion is calculated as a pro-rata credit and applied against your next renewal — not refunded to your card.
Live preview before you confirm
Every activation/deactivation/add shows the current and new billed site count, the pro-rata amount, the next invoice date, and (for adds) the choice between pay-now and add-to-renewal. No commitment until you click confirm.
Renewals, invoices and reminders
Monthly subscribers are charged on the same date each month; annual subscribers once a year. We send a reminder email 7 days before every renewal showing the exact amount including any pro-rata adjustments. Past invoices are downloadable from the Billing page.
Cancelling your subscription
Cancel from the Seito Billing page (not the Stripe portal). We show any outstanding pro-rata charges and bill them at cancellation. You keep full access until the end of your current period — after that the account becomes read-only. Reactivate any time before that end date.
Free trial
New businesses get a 30-day cardless free trial. Add or remove sites freely during the trial. When you upgrade, you're billed for whatever active site count you have at that moment — same per-site logic from then on.
Tips
- Deactivate (don't just leave inactive) sites you've closed — that's the way to stop being billed.
- Annual saves ~20% if you've settled on your site count.
- All pro-ration uses Stripe's standard logic — no surprise mid-cycle card charges.
- The Billing page shows your current plan, next invoice date, and a 'Sync now' button if your billed count ever drifts from your active site count.
